Swaminarayan Akshardham or Akshardham Temple is a Hindu Temple rich in Hindu art, architecture and culture. Created by 'Pramukh Swami Maharaj' and constructed by Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Sanstha (BAPS). 43 m high, 96 m wide and 109 m long temple. It is constructed from Rajasthani pink sandstone and Italian carrara marble. It shows the traditional hindu architecture. 3.4m high statue of Swaminarayana, whom the temple is dedicated, is placed in the central dome of the temple.
